Responsibilities
  • Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
  • Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawl spaces and everything in between, solve problems, and build trusted relationships ensuring homes and families are protected.
  • Listen to customers’ needs, clearly explain practical solutions, and win them over with confidence and care.
  • Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing in‑depth training to decide on the best pest solution for each customer’s needs.
  • Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads; you have a robust advertising budget to provide leads.
  • Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers at their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services.
  • Inspect interior and exterior of the customer’s home.
  • Make recommendations to customers based on inspection and identified issues, addressing questions, explaining the process, and setting expectations.
  • Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company‑provided iPad; training will be provided.

Qualifications
  • No experience required – training provided.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
  • Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers.
  • Qualified applicants considered in compliance with applicable state and local laws.
Physical Requirements
  • Safely use a ladder within its weight capacity.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and sometimes an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
