Senior Equities Electronic Sales Trader - New York
For our US Markets division in New York we are looking to hire a Senior Equities Electronic Sales Trader.
Your role in the team:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Equities Electronic Sales Trader to join our US Markets division. The role sits at the intersection of client coverage, trading technology, and market microstructure, supporting institutional clients in optimizing their execution through advanced algorithmic and program trading solutions. This candidate will work closely with Sales Trading, Quantitative Research, Trading Technology, and Product teams focused on driving new growth by developing relationships and expanding client engagement across the platform.
- Actively cover existing clients and develop new trading relationships to grow market share
- Monitor and engage with clients on execution strategy selection, analyze performance and conduct TCA reviews
- Provide market structure updates in relation to liquidity trends, regulatory changes and the competitive landscape
- Deliver market intelligence and client feedback to guide product development and platform enhancements
- Coordinate with quantitative researchers on client customization
- Develop and implement action plans to drive growth in an entrepreneurial environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience and Series 7, 57, 63 required
- 7+ years covering Institutional clients in a Sales or Sales Trading role and proven success as a revenue producing Sales Trader with Institutional client relationships
- Strong understanding of electronic trading platforms, order execution strategies and market structure
- Excellent communication skills, ability to foster relationships and to cooperate effectively

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as high attention to detail

Salary will vary based on role, education, level of experience, and expertise ranging between (i.e $200,000 to $230,000) dollars as a base salary with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus plus comprehensive benefits package.
