Our client, a clothing designer in New York City is seeking a Sales Assistant to serve as the right hand to the VP of Sales.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in all aspects of the sales process, including sales orders, buy sheets, selling reports/recaps, inventory.
- Engage in buyer interactions and follow up with buying teams.
- Prepare e-commerce copy for websites, highlighting product features and benefits.
- Maintain extreme attention to detail and exceptional follow up skills.
- Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Help to maintain the showroom and assist with market appointments with the buyers.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, specifically in a fashion sales support role.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must requirement for this role.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Preferred: 1 year in merchandising and 1 year in sales
