OverviewWe are looking for a Sales Director to lead an existing team of Strategic Enterprise Account Executives. The role focuses on achieving team quota and expanding Databricks usage, driving customer success in the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, grow, and inspire Strategic Enterprise Account Executives to overachieve their goals.
- Instill a culture of teamwork focused on measurable business value and desired customer outcomes.
- Develop trust‑based relationships with customers and partners to ensure long‑term success.
- Drive ongoing learning of continuous innovation delivered through data intelligence and GenAI solutions.
- Actively participate in regional growth plans, ensure forecast accuracy, and build a high‑growth business.
- Live Databricks’ core values and instill them in the team.
- 5+ years of building and leading high‑growth sales teams serving enterprise customers in Big Data, Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), Analytics, or AI.
- History of exceeding quota and thriving in hyper‑growth Enterprise technology companies.
- Understanding of value selling and sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Command of Message.
- Knowledge of developing partner ecosystems to grow strategic enterprise territories and ensure customer success.
- Strong Retail industry experience preferred.
- Track record of leading teams focused on enterprise territories and driving consumption.
$440,000 — $605,000 USD (non‑commissionable roles or on‑target earnings for commissionable roles).
