Sales Executive, CoStar Debt Solutions – New York City, New York Role Overview
As a Sales Executive for CoStar Debt Solutions, you will play a key role in expanding our strategic relationships with both existing clients and high‑potential prospects. You'll help lenders make smarter decisions with powerful data and insights, thriving in a high‑performance culture that rewards ambition and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- New Business Development:
Identify and close new sales opportunities by demonstrating the value of our SaaS, data, and information services tailored to commercial real‑estate lenders and financial institutions. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with CRE lending clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for expansion. - Territory Engagement:
Travel within your assigned region to meet clients and prospects face‑to‑face, fostering trust and delivering product value. - Strategic
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders and local field sales teams to align on client goals, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing client satisfaction. - Market Expertise:
Develop deep knowledge of CoStar Debt Solutions' industry‑leading solutions and the commercial real‑estate lending space to position yourself as a trusted advisor. - Sales Execution:
Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to closing, onboarding, training, and renewals—driving growth and exceeding revenue targets.
- 4–10 years of solution‑selling experience, owning the full sales cycle from prospect to close.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college or university.
- Track record of commitment and success with prior employers.
- Willing and able to travel to client and prospect locations on a regular basis.
- History of success in selling SaaS solutions to banks and financial institutions.
- Experience with complex sales processes and diagnostic selling.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Experience selling to large organizations with sophisticated buying processes, especially in banks and lenders.
- Understanding of economic and risk models and the regulatory framework in the U.S. banking system.
- Ability to manage data integration and convey the value of proprietary data sets.
- Versatile, fast‑learning sales professional with strong communication and client‑focused approach.
- Motivated by uncapped earning potential and adaptable to evolving products.
- Competitive base salary range of $90,000 – $100,000.
