Position: Business Development Manager, Wholesale Jewelry (U.S.)
Location: New York

Location: Remote within the United States, with regular travel for client meetings, trade shows, and market visits.

Position Overview

CAZA Collective is recruiting on behalf of a well-established fine jewelry company seeking a Business Development Manager, Wholesale Jewelry (U.S.) to drive wholesale growth across the United States. This is an opportunity for a high-performing sales professional with strong industry relationships and a proven track record in fine jewelry wholesale sales.

The person in this role will be responsible for managing existing accounts while also developing new business across the U.S. market. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, relationship-focused, and comfortable working independently while partnering closely with leadership and internal support teams.

This role can be based anywhere in the United States and offers the flexibility to work remotely, with travel required for client meetings, trade shows, and market visits.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and grow wholesale business across the United States.
  • Manage existing client relationships while identifying and securing new accounts.
  • Build strong partnerships with independent retailers, mid-size chains, department stores, and wholesalers.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings and presentations.
  • Travel for trade shows, client meetings, and market visits throughout the U.S.
  • Use CRM tools and internal systems to manage sales activity, follow-up, and account development.
  • Meet annual sales targets of $3 - $4 million, with opportunity to exceed that level.
  • Partner closely with internal teams on pricing, inventory selection, and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness, follow-through, and customer service.
What We Are Looking For
  • At least five years of experience in fine jewelry wholesale sales.
  • Proven experience selling into the U.S. market.
  • Demonstrated success generating $3 million+ in annual sales.
  • Strong knowledge of diamonds, bridal, colored stone, and fine jewelry collections.
  • Experience working with independent retailers, wholesalers, department stores, and multi-store accounts.
  • Strong relationship‑building and business development skills.
  • A polished and professional presence with the ability to represent a respected jewelry brand.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Must hold a valid U.S. passport or be able to obtain one, as travel is required.
Compensation
  • Base salary of $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
  • Tiered commission structure:
    • 1% on all sales under $1M
    • Additional 1% on all sales for that year if sales exceed $1M
    • On-target earnings are expected to range from $115,000 - $130,000+ annually, depending on performance. Commission is paid on collected revenue.
    • Top performers are currently generating $5 - $5.5 million annually.

Their product range spans diamond jewelry, colored stone collections, bridal, and fashion lines across a wide price spectrum.

This
