Responsibilities and Impact- Drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with Japan’s commercial banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers, ensuring trust and sustained client satisfaction.
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations and presentations, addressing specific challenges faced by Japanese financial institutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists and client support, to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for Japanese clients.
- Develop in‑depth understanding of the Japanese competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and client needs.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of service and client relationship quality.
- 3–10 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services or technology solutions.
- Native‑level Japanese (written and spoken) and business‑level English communication skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets in Japan.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders in Japanese organizations.
- Familiarity with Japanese business etiquette and a consultative, relationship‑focused sales approach.
- Willingness to travel within Japan and occasionally internationally.
- Experience selling financial data, analytics, or technology solutions to Japanese institutional clients.
- Established network within Japan’s financial services industry (banks, asset managers, securities firms).
- Knowledge of Japanese capital markets, investment processes, and relevant regulatory environment.
