Overview
As a Private Banker within Wealth Management you will develop, manage, and retain client relationships. You will be responsible for acquiring assets through expanding existing client relationships and cultivating new relationships for the Bank. Your primary focus is growth— increasing "wallet share" through cross‑selling and attracting new clients, and identifying sales initiatives based on expert market knowledge and the Bank’s wealth‑management capabilities.
You will actively participate in new business development, build a prospective client base, identify referral sources internally and externally, and offer value‑added client solutions while demonstrating the ability to close deals. You should have an understanding of capital markets and a technical skill set focused on comprehensive wealth management.
- Generate up to $1M of annual production / net new revenue
- Maintain $3M - $5M of total annual production / book revenue
- Present a holistic approach to clients, leveraging the entire Deutsche Bank platform
- Determine the right coverage model to deliver comprehensive, personalized wealth‑management solutions and diversified strategies to meet client demands
- Ensure current and prospective clients meet all Know‑Your‑Client, Anti‑Money‑Laundering, suitability and other corporate and regulatory compliance standards
- Focus on new business development for the target client segment ($10M - $25M investable assets)
- Previous relevant experience
- Registered for S7 and S63
- Drive, motivation to meet targets, strong sales and negotiation skills
- Expansive knowledge of regional and local financial markets
- Ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and platform presentation skills
Employees hired into this role must work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
The salary range for this position in New York City is $220,000 to $415,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
