Business Development
As a member of a sales team, the sales professional is responsible for maintaining and deepening customer relationships. Provides face-to-face customer contact in an assigned market-based geographic territory (major and metro markets) to achieve personal and company sales goals for small to mid-sized customers.
Essential Functions- Maintains existing business by developing an understanding of the customer’s business and supply chain through research and customer interaction, analyzing customer needs and developing and implementing solutions.
- Coordinates and collaborates with internal teams, such as sales counterparts and operations as well as other internal partners to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
- Mid-level negotiation skills needed to offer fair, competitive market-based pricing within parameters set by Fed Ex. Will occasionally need to negotiate strategic pricing for select customers.
- Leverages new and existing technology tools such as internal systems, mobile devices, and PowerPoint.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree/equivalent (Equivalency reflected under minimum experience)
Minimum Experience (in lieu of bachelor’s degree)Four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience OR two (2) years of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.

Job ConditionsModerate overnight travel required.
Preferred QualificationsIn-person, customer-facing role (2 days remote, 3 days in territory). Candidates must have a valid driver's license for territory travel and live within a 50-mile radius of Brooklyn, NY/Long Island, NY or surrounding cities within the territory.
Quantifiable & Measurable Sales Achievements, Territory management, experience with CBRs, building & maintaining C level relationships, building account plans.
Pay TransparencyPay: ($4,331.25/month - $8,187.50/month)
Relocation may be available based on business need. Role is hybrid: 2 days remote / 3 days in territory. Position is not eligible for sponsorship. Pay Grade: SP3. Position close date:
