Cardiovascular Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Albany N, NY

Responsible for increasing territory sales and developing relationships with customers and accounts. Engages in product promotion, develops business strategies, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive sales in assigned territory.
  • Engage customers face‑to‑face and virtually.
  • Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans and live/virtual engagement strategies.
  • Build rapport and maintain relationships using digital and virtual tools.
  • Leverage internal reports and analytics for strategic opportunities.
  • Use product and disease‑state knowledge to educate providers on value proposition.
  • Collaborate across the organization to address inquiries and advance objectives.
  • Complete administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales, promotional activity, small‑business ownership, marketing, customer service, account management, or full‑time military; or associate’s degree with 6+ years; or high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record; DUI/DWI within past 7 years disqualifies.
  • Residency within 25 miles of territory border.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales or related marketing experience.
  • Strong track record in sales/marketing, territory management, communication, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
  • Experience with relevant disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
  • Knowledge of territory customers and markets (HCPs, institutions).
  • Residence within territory boundaries.

JOB DETAILS

  • Annual base salary: $76,000 – $199,600; classified as salary non‑exempt during training with overtime pay, exempt afterward.
  • Quarterly Sales Incentive bonus offered.
  • Benefits include 401(k) with matching and retirement contribution, paid vacation, holidays, personal days, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision).
  • Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs.
