Sales Activation Manager, Metro NY, On‑Premise –

Location:

Manhattan, New York City.

As a Sales Activation Manager, you will ensure our brands are the most visible product in the trade, driving consumer purchase through elite‑level activation.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with key account gatekeepers and distributor partners.
  • Create consumer desire and brand loyalty through elite‑level activation events.
  • Improve rate of sale for DFWS brands through tactical activation.
  • Lead education and training efforts in on‑premise accounts and with distributor sales teams.
  • Implement marketing strategies, merchandising, and distribution to sales conversion.
  • Enhance market presence, visibility, and trial to boost brand affinity and sales.
  • Deliver excellence in brand standards execution within on‑premise channels.
  • Own activation, execution, and achievement of market goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitive activities.
  • Adapt strategies through creative thinking to achieve objectives.
  • Manage budget allocation and oversight for sales initiatives and compliance.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of field sales experience in alcohol‑beverage or CPG industries.
  • Computer literate and functional in Microsoft Office.
  • Results‑oriented, focused, and assertive with minimal supervision.
  • Team‑player able to work in an intense, fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills for presentations.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • Flexibility to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Live in New York City or nearby territory.
  • Compliance: required to obtain a solicitor’s permit where necessary.
