New Business Sales Manager – Sell Side | Financial Data & Analytics About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven New Business Sales Manager to join a leading financial data and analytics business. This role focuses on driving new revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and winning new sell-side clients across the financial services sector.
You will work with senior stakeholders at investment banks, broker-dealers, and other financial institutions, helping them leverage market data and analytics solutions to support trading, risk management, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with prospective clients.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through to close.
- Understand client needs and position data and analytics solutions effectively.
- Deliver impactful presentations and commercial proposals to key decision-makers.
- Partner with SDRs and internal teams to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within Salesforce.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets.
- Proven B2B sales experience within financial data, analytics, fintech, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of sell-side workflows; OTC data experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
