Account Manager, Advertising Sales, Client Relationship Manager, Sales Representative
Location: New York
Responsibilities
- Establish and foster working relationships with key decision makers at both client and agency levels, focusing on Holding Companies and Fortune 500 brands.
- Build on the strengths of Netflix’s portfolio of product offerings to close new business while renewing and up‑selling existing clients to maximize revenue.
- Prepare proposals and respond to RFPs with professionalism, quality, and timeliness.
- Work with Netflix Ad Sales Product, Marketing, Research, and Revenue Yield Management to ensure client needs are met.
- Negotiate pricing, advertising placement, content, and event concepts.
- Develop sales strategies and sales plans for assigned accounts.
- Create and deliver powerful, persuasive presentations to clients.
- Prospect, identify, and qualify new clients.
- Stay current on video advertising trends and innovations.
- The position requires travel based on agency and client location.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in the Advertising industry, with a minimum of 2 years of direct media sales experience managing complex agency and client relationships.
- Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes.
- Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers.
- Problem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functions.
- Prospecting and cold‑calling skills are necessary.
- Understanding of how clients set priorities and performance goals and how to align the product portfolio to best fulfill those needs.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi‑task, make decisions, and manage at an entrepreneurial speed.
- Strong, confident presentation skills.
