About the Role

Presidio Network Solutions is a leading digital solutions and services provider. We are seeking an experienced and driven Core Senior Account Manager to join our team, focusing on strategic and core accounts of our Financial Services & Commercial Sales Teams across the Northeast. This role is pivotal in managing and growing key accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain deep, strategic relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within strategic accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Understand the business objectives and challenges of strategic customers and advocate for solutions that align with client goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of solutions, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Maintain operational understanding of accounts, tracking performance metrics, forecasting revenue, and analyzing account health.
  • Work closely with internal teams—sales, marketing, technical experts—to develop tailored solutions and compelling proposals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology partners such as AWS, Microsoft, and Cisco to create joint go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, sales metrics, and client satisfaction, providing regular updates and strategic insights to senior management.
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and customer engagement goals through proactive relationship management and consultative selling.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience or military experience).
  • 7+ years of successful quota‑achieving outside sales experience, ideally in network, cloud, digital transformation, security, infrastructure, data center, professional services, or managed services.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development within the AWS or Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Proven track record in selling professional services to solve customer problems.
  • Expertise in strategic account planning across Cloud Service Providers and internal Presidio teams.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and deal‑closing abilities with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Operational management skills, including forecasting and account health tracking.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build and sustain strong client relationships at a strategic level.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the capacity to develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
