Position: Business Development Manager (Building Services)
Location: New York

Candidate must be located in Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Long Island, or northern New Jersey.

Mission Hires is hiring a Business Development Manager (Building Services) to sell comprehensive facility solutions—janitorial, sanitization, monitoring, security, preventive maintenance, HVAC/electrical oversight, and emergency repair coordination—to commercial and industrial clients. This consultative, client-facing role owns the full sales cycle, builds long-term partnerships with property and facility leaders, and collaborates with operations to deliver customized, high-value service programs.

How You'll Contribute
  • Build and nurture relationships with property managers, facility leaders, operations executives, and procurement teams
  • Prospect and generate leads via networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events
  • Conduct client meetings and facility walkthroughs to uncover operational pain points
  • Develop and present customized proposals for janitorial, maintenance, sanitization, HVAC oversight, and facility support programs
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
  • Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure seamless implementation and client satisfaction
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through exceptional service and responsiveness
  • Track pipeline, activities, and performance using CRM tools
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Experience selling building services, facility management, janitorial, maintenance solutions, HVAC services, or related B2B service offerings
  • Proven consultative sales and business development skills
  • Demonstrated success building relationships with decision-makers in commercial and industrial environments
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and service-based contracts
  • Strong presentation, proposal development, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organization, communication, and follow-through
  • Comfort operating independently in a client-facing field sales role
  • Competitive base salary plus commission structure. Up to $170K OTE.
