We are seeking a highly driven Inside Sales Representative to help grow our staffing business across the IT and Construction sectors. This role is focused primarily on new client acquisition and revenue generation — ideal for someone with staffing industry sales experience who knows how to break into new accounts and build long-term client relationships.
We are looking for a true sales professional with experience selling staffing services, not a traditional HR recruiter. Recruiting experience is a plus, but the core focus of this role is business development, client acquisition, and account growth.
This position does not offer visa sponsorship or transfer. No agencies please.
What You’ll Do- Develop new staffing clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and outbound sales activity
- Identify companies hiring IT professionals, construction engineers, project managers, and related talent
- Build relationships with hiring managers, decision-makers, and procurement teams
- Generate staffing opportunities for both contract/temp and direct hire placements
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through signed business
- Expand existing client relationships and discover additional hiring needs
- Partner with recruiting teams to help deliver qualified candidates
- Track activity, pipeline, and revenue goals in CRM systems
- Stay current on staffing industry trends, labor market conditions, and hiring activity
- 2+ years of experience in staffing industry sales, business development, inside sales, or full desk staffing
- Experience selling IT staffing, engineering staffing, or construction staffing solutions strongly preferred
- Proven ability to generate new business and open client accounts
- Comfortable with cold outreach, prospecting, and high-volume client engagement
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
- Recruiting experience is a plus, but not required
- Base Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 (depending on experience)
