About the Team

The Biovia Solution Sales Specialist team members are Sales Professionals and Product/Domain Experts for specific components of our Biovia Portfolio. They create and manage sales opportunities and provide expertise to Client Executives and Account Executives at key inflection points in the sales cycle. The role supports go‑to‑market strategy for Biovia solutions and reports to a Sr. Director of Biovia Solution Sales.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve half‑year and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with Pre‑Sales, Marketing, Product Strategy, Product Management, and Professional Services to build a pipeline and win deals.
  • Work with Client Executives and Account Executives to implement sales strategies by presenting and promoting the value of Biovia’s solutions to prospects and customers.
  • Prospect, secure meetings, and oversee Biovia opportunities from initiation through close.
  • Support and manage quarterly Field Marketing activities such as webinars, conference attendance/presentation, and industry events.
  • Help marketing teams with quarterly Product Marketing activities including white papers, press releases, SEO, and case studies.
  • Create market demand by promoting Biovia solutions through seminars, webinars, social media, and industry events.
  • Contribute to designing talk track for email/cold call campaigns used by the sales team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related Science; preferred focused discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Laboratory, Manufacturing, and Quality as it relates to pharma, biotech, or CDMO companies.
  • Software or SaaS sales experience in the biopharma, life sciences, or CDMO industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of Lab, Manufacturing, or Quality sales experience with Life Science companies.
  • Proven ability to prospect, secure new meetings, lead the sales process, deliver presentations, proposals, and win deals.
  • Experience managing relationships with senior management and directors in client organizations.
  • Perform qualification and discovery with new clients to achieve pipeline growth by identifying scientific value.
  • Comfort with sustained business travel up to 50% of time.
  • Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, quarterly goal accomplishment, and territory planning.

Base salary is part of the Total Rewards, with many sales positions eligible for commissions and some non‑sales positions eligible for annual bonuses.
