Job DescriptionJoin CGI as a NYC Public Sector Account Executive Director. We are seeking to hire an expert in New York City's procurement processes with a proven track record of driving profitable growth and expanding accounts. This role is perfect for a self-driven, entrepreneurial individual with proven IT business development experience in the City of NY public sector. As our NYC Account Leader, you will be required to reside in the NYC metro area and will leverage your senior-level relationships within multiple government agencies to expand our IT Services business.
Your responsibilities will include managing a team of skilled delivery SMEs and growing our relationships and portfolio within the NYC metro area.
- Expand our portfolio with the government sector within the NYC metro area.
- Drive Revenue and Profitability.
- Bring deep knowledge and Information Technology services delivery capability, integrate into the marketplace and bring solutions and thought leadership to our clients, work well in collaborative environments, and be highly motivated by delivering excellent services to our clients.
- Use and leverage experience and creativity to design, propose and execute solutions for complex client problems in advanced business and technology environments.
- Lead a team of professionals – both direct reports and via US based onshore delivery centers.
- Manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.
- Contribute to business strategy, budget planning, and manage profitability of engagements.
- Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts within the NYC metro area – Public Sector.
- Lead proposals and evolve solution offerings.
- Overall accountability for the winning of competitive proposals.
- Overall accountability of service delivery to our clients.
- Ensure success of engagements using global US based onshore delivery centers and strategic partners.
- Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated ability in senior level, NYC metro Leadership or Information Technology Consulting for government clients.
- Deep understanding, knowledge and relationships with the NYC metro Public Sector Agencies.
- Ability to interact with agency C-Level decision makers.
- Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&Ls, and complex pricing models.
- Business development including strategic sales planning.
- Client engagement management and relationship building.
- A keen, flexible and bold perceptiveness; outstanding conceptual thinking as well as analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Be independent, self-starting, and be able to stay calm under the pressures of multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
- Proven track record of crafting and maintaining business partnerships and relationships.
