Role Overview
The Connected Solutions Mid‑Market Sales Executive for US companies is responsible for driving sales growth in the Accenture Mid‑Market Direct Business by developing and closing new business opportunities with customers seeking Supply Chain, EV & CFO, Retail, and Finance Solutions enabled by Anaplan. They focus on originating and closing opportunities, leveraging the pre‑defined Mid‑Market offerings and a consultative sales approach to help clients meet their technology service requirements.
The Sales Executive interfaces directly with senior stakeholders such as CSCO, CIO, CDO, CTO, and VP of Software Development/Engineering, and is accountable for progressing the sales cycle and supporting customers to complete the transaction.
- Engage directly with Mid‑Market Direct customers from the C‑Suite to other leaders.
- Manage and nurture relationships with clients and technology partners (Anaplan).
- Drive net new customer acquisition and expand the existing client base within the Accenture Mid‑Market Direct segment.
- Coordinate closely with lead generation providers, solutioning team, and technical architects.
- Partner with Anaplan representatives and other partners at the tactical and strategic level across their Sales, Solution Architect, and Partner teams.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the segment.
- Minimum of 8 years of software and services sales experience selling complex cloud solutions and/or Dev Ops consulting.
- Minimum of 5 years deep industry experience in one or more of the following industries: CPG, Industrial, Life Sciences, Discrete and/or Process Manufacturing, Chemicals, Retail, EV & CFO, etc.
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing $30M+ contract value annually.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (12 years), or an Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience.
- Technical background in native SaaS Anaplan solution.
- 10+ years experience selling Anaplan or similar related services.
