Location: New York
Carelon Rx Account Manager ll (Northeast) – a hybrid role that requires associates to be in‑office 1–2 days per week while facilitating virtual work to support productivity and work‑life balance.
Location: New York City, Penn Plaza office; external local customers as needed. This position may also be performed from New Jersey or New York based on the company’s hybrid policy.
Responsibilities- Build and cultivate relationships with broker/consultant/client key decision makers, providing quality service.
- Collaborate with internal partners to deliver best‑in‑class service, resolve operational issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive recovery efforts that influence account retention and growth.
- Execute client‑specific operational deliverables such as benefit set‑up, reporting, and project support as required.
- Implement and manage contractual obligations, including performance/operational guarantees and rebate strategies.
- Leverage data to track account performance, identify trends/opportunities, and recommend strategies for client growth and retention.
- Maintain operational understanding of all Rx products and solutions.
- Support implementation for new or existing clients and contract renewals.
- Train and mentor lower‑level Account Management staff.
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in account management, sales, or managing business/client relationships; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences- PBM and client‑facing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in Pharmacy Operations strongly preferred.
- Proficiency using Excel (Pivot Tables, V‑Lookups, etc.) and Tableau highly desired.
The salary range for this position is $85,468 to $133,776, based on legitimate, non‑discriminatory factors set by the company. The range may be modified in the future and the actual compensation will vary based on geography, experience, education, and skill level.
