Job Overview
Data & Feeds Sales Specialist – responsible for hunting new prospects and opportunities with new and existing customers, and leading with customer value.
Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and close deals for pricing and reference data, professional services, and solutions sold to Broker Dealers, Asset Managers, Corporates and other financial institutions.
- Structure deals, leverage market and business acumen to outsell competition, and manage sales pipeline to uncover daily opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical sales engineering, account management, product, marketing, and sales strategy to execute and drive sales execution.
- Provide customer demonstrations and negotiate and close deals to achieve quota and growth.
- Monitor competitors, perform SWOT analyses, and develop strategies for competitive advantage.
- Represent the proposition as a thought leader and internal/external spokesperson.
- 7+ years of experience selling financial data and solutions.
- Outstanding solution selling skills with a proven track record in a quota‑bearing environment.
- Knowledge of the financial services community and competitor landscape.
- Strong presentation, listening, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Technical knowledge of financial markets mid and back‑office operations.
- Managerial career stage, self‑motivated, results oriented, and able to work to tight deadlines.
Base salary: $120,000 – $200,000 (variable depending on role and location).
Variable incentive compensation plan with target variable pay commensurate with the career stage.
