Account Executive (Kids Sportswear and Swim)
A growing company in the apparel industry is seeking a full-time Account Executive (Kids) to help expand its presence across key wholesale and retail channels. This role will focus on building and managing accounts within the children’s apparel space, with an emphasis on kids sportswear and swim, while also supporting broader category growth initiatives across additional product lines.
The ideal candidate brings strong relationships with mid-tier department store
- Dillards , Macys, and Belk for example along with a proven ability to drive revenue, identify new business opportunities, and grow existing partnerships. Experience in apparel sales is essential, and a background in swim, sportswear, and/or outerwear is highly valued.
- Manage and grow wholesale accounts within the kids apparel category, especially sportswear and swim.
- Leverage existing buyer and merchant relationships as well as create new ones to expand distribution.
- Present seasonal assortments, negotiate business terms, and partner with internal teams to execute account strategy.
- Identify opportunities to support expansion into additional categories, including men’s, women’s, and swim.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform sales planning.
- Collaborate closely with leadership on account growth plans and category development.
- Proven experience in apparel wholesale sales, preferably within kids sportswear, swim, or related categories.
- Established contacts with mid-tier department stores.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of building and expanding profitable accounts.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and product categories in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with outerwear is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
