Overview
The team is in search of a magnetic Group Sales Manager with remarkable tenacity, a sharp leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, who’s good-natured, a natural at relationship building, and puts their client’s needs at the top of their priority list, while meeting (or surpassing) all revenue goals for the department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all activities related to group, and catering sales function and revenue generation from all sales territories.
This role focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives and personal booking goals.
- Responsible for all activities related to group and catering sales functions and revenue generation across all sales territories.
- Build long-term, value-based relationships with customers to achieve property sales objectives and personal booking goals.
- Passionate about hospitality sales with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable position and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a field related to this profession.
- Extensive hotel sales experience within the luxury market with proven leadership and selling skills; track record in selling, optimizing guest and team member engagement, and financial performance.
- Expert in Group Sales with strong leadership, natural selling ability, and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to work a schedule including days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
