SUMMARY
Supports the Account Executives in the day-to-day servicing of Energy & Marine related accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Exhibits proven competence in all Assistant Account Manager duties and knowledge requirements;
- Compiles renewal requests to the clients and completes marketing submissions as directed by the Account Executive;
- Generates insurance proposals, summaries of insurance and policy schedules as needed;
- Manages the renewal of non-oil and gas lines of coverage, crime bonds and miscellaneous coverages that do not renew with the majority of the account;
- Discusses and resolves coverage issues for clients under the direction of the Account Executive;
- Reviews quotes for accuracy, requests, reviews and processes binders;
- Reviews carrier invoices for accuracy and processes any requests for financing;
- Requests, calculates and processes Well Reports;
- Sets up master certificate of insurance within Epic;
- Processes and provides premium allocations;
- Reviews and resolves any Accounts Receivables issues on a weekly basis with input from the Account Executive and/or Producer;
- Works with clients and carriers on processing final audits;
- Oversees and delegates work to the Assistant Account Manager and Account Representatives;
- Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date;
- Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six (6) or more years related work experience
- Experience with oil and gas insurance a plus
- Valid Insurance License
- Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
- Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
- Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
