Job Summary
NTT DATA is seeking a P&C Sales Executive for the Northeast or Midwest region to join our team in New York, New York, United States.
OverviewIn this role you will manage client relationships within the IT Consulting Services arena of the Insurance industry, focusing on new logos and strategic clients.
Responsibilities- Oversee client management in the IT Consulting Services arena.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in application outsourcing, application development, infrastructure services, digital solutions, and related IT services.
- Build and maintain relationships with C‑level executives and senior IT managers.
- Execute sales goals and strategies within the defined sales area.
- Manage sales cycles for large national and global accounts within the P&C Insurance industry.
- 6+ years of net new logo sales experience selling IT solutions or professional services to P&C insurance clients.
- 10+ years of experience in IT services, consulting, or managed services.
- At least 7 years in a sales or new business development role, with 5+ years selling into insurance services organizations.
- BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience with a systems integration or management consulting company.
- Experience selling complex managed services, full IT outsourcing solutions, application services, and industry vertical solutions such as regulatory compliance, digital solutions, mobile solutions, transformational services, and ERP.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas of $6 million or more.
- Proven ability to sell to P&C insurance companies.
- Strategic agility to influence C‑level executives within customer organizations.
- Capability to sponsor and institutionalize innovative ways of working to meet customer needs.
- Alignment with NTT DATA’s brand and overall sales strategies.
- Model industry standards in achieving sales goals.
- Experience selling to large national and global accounts.
- Typical contact at CEO, CIO, and CTO level decision makers.
- Understanding of market and competitive factors influencing sales of NTT DATA services.
- Strong insurance (P&C) and service solution knowledge.
- Deep understanding of customers’ decision‑making processes, goals, objectives and strategies.
- Excellent business and financial acumen.
- Ability to assess potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
