Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic plans for developing business & achieving sales goals
  • Provide Marketing Direction in Support to Sales, Works closely with Merchandising and Design
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
  • Manage the sales teams and resources to deliver profitable growth.
  • Define optimal sales force structure.
  • Hire and develop sales staff.
  • Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top salespeople want to join
  • Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
  • Define and coordinate sales training that enables staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to an elevated level of customer satisfaction.
  • Define sales processes that drive the desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospective interactions.
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.

Product category women and some men in denim, light outerwear, and sweaters. We are looking to build other categories as well if we hire the right VP.

Skills & Experience
  • Education:

    BS/BA Business or related field
  • IT: MS Office, Walmart Retail Link, Nu Order, Joor
  • Practical experiences:
    Retail Sales Experience touching Multiple Retailer types from Mass, Club, Dept., Dollar, Farm & Fleet, Sports Specialty & Ecommerce
  • Specific skills behavior:
    Trustworthy, Loyal, Strategic, Visionary, Proven & Realistic, Data & Result Oriented, Leader, Team Developer, Merchandiser & Marketer
  • Salary: $225,000 - $250,000
