IBS is a leading global provider of new generation IT solutions to Travel, Transportation and Logistics industries since 1997. IBS provides a broad range of industry leading products and services that manage mission critical operations of airlines, airports, cruise lines, hospitality partners, tour operators and oil & gas companies.
We are currently searching for an experienced Sales Director for our Consulting and Digital Transformation (CDx) line of business. The Sales Director will nurture and grow new pipeline in the Airline, Hospitality and Travel space. Requires a good understanding of market and competition to develop appropriate sales strategies and apply the sales and solution expertise, in conjunction with project teams.
We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Business Development sales director with a proven track record in the airline, hospitality, and travel industry. This is a hunter role, focused on acquiring new logos and building strategic relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying and closing new deals in the consulting and digital transformation services
- Leverage existing industry relationships to open doors and initiate conversations with decision makers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Work on building pipeline, defining marketing content and promoting them
- Be the face of IBS to the market and help position IBS as an industry leader and trusted advisor for clients of focus
- Leverage the IBS ecosystem of capabilities across digital innovation, domain experience and delivery excellence to develop solutions that address the client’s business problems
- Strong in communication and storytelling and have a minimum of 3-5 years working in Digital transformation with a restless creative, innovative mindset and the ability to understand business and customer needs using the leading trends in the industry, market, and technology
- Innovative mindset behind developing new platform solutions based on market research
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of experience, with strong selling capability in consulting and digital transformation services
- Understanding of Global Delivery Model and large deal experience
- Track record of engaging and building relationship with senior leaders, CXOs of client organization
- Hands-on experience with proposal creation, crafting solutions and leading proposal presentation, marketing
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Work Authorization
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required. Must hold a valid passport.
Travel
This position requires 50% to 75% travel within the Americas Region (North America and South America). Most of the business trips are 2 to 3 days in length, with overnight stays.
