Job Summary
The Director of Franchise Sales is responsible for prospecting, recruiting, and signing qualified franchise candidates, as well as building relationships with existing franchisees to secure new franchise agreements and development commitments. The role focuses on meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas, franchise fee revenue, and new unit openings for all GoTo Foods concepts within the assigned geography.
Essential Functions- Drive the execution of sales strategies, relationship management, and best practices to build a robust sales pipeline and meet/exceed annual sales quota and franchise fee revenue.
- Guide potential franchisees through the entire recruitment process from initial contact to disclosure, discovery, and agreement signing.
- Ensure all franchise sales activities comply with legal guidelines and FDD regulations.
- Proactively seek and pursue qualified candidates in target markets.
- Build rapport and relationships with existing franchise partners and new prospects to promote brand growth.
- Facilitate the receipt and completion of all required documentation for prospect approval.
- Guide potential franchise partners through research and education about the franchise opportunity.
- Develop plans to achieve targeted growth and profitability within the assigned territory.
- Identify potential new market and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with department staff to develop and review activity and forecast reports.
- Participate in industry trade associations for networking, staying current with trends, and promoting company sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development team members in real estate, design, and construction.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Preferred).
- 5+ years of sales-related experience (Required).
- Franchise sales experience (Preferred).
- High drive and tenacity with a proven track record of achieving sales results.
- Strategic and fast-paced thinker who quickly establishes credibility and trust.
- Ability to quickly identify and articulate a brand’s value.
- Negotiation skills with the ability to influence others to create win‑win partnerships.
- Strong general business, financial, and management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to travel 50‑75% of the time.
- May be required to travel up to 75% of the time.
