Salary Range$30K-$40K/Annum
Job Description- We are seeking an accomplished Managing Director – Sales to drive strategic growth across Banking and Payments clients.
- The ideal candidate will possess a blend of hunting and farming experience, deep industry relationships, and a proven track record of selling consulting, digital transformation, and technology services to Tier‑1 banks, financial institutions, payment processors, and fintech organizations.
- This executive will develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies, expand existing accounts, acquire new logos, and lead large, complex deal pursuits.
- Drive new business acquisition and account expansion across Banking, Payments, Cards, and Fin Tech sectors.
- Build and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Develop C‑level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Payments, Digital Banking leaders, and business executives.
- Identify, qualify, and close large transformation opportunities involving cloud, data, AI, digital engineering, and managed services.
- Lead end‑to‑end deal cycles from opportunity identification through contract negotiations and closure.
- Grow and manage strategic accounts through a farming approach while continually adding new logos.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding business priorities and industry trends.
- Drive customer satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
- Collaborate with delivery, solutioning, and practice teams to ensure successful engagement execution.
- Maintain deep understanding of Banking and Payments industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
- Develop relationships with ecosystem partners and technology vendors.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and client events.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership.
- Partner with delivery, pre‑sales, and practice leaders to develop compelling solutions.
- Mentor and guide sales teams in large account management and strategic pursuits.
- Contribute to annual business planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of enterprise sales experience with at least 8 years focused on Banking, Payments, Cards, or Financial Services.
- Proven experience selling IT services, consulting, digital transformation, or managed services.
- Strong hunting and farming capabilities with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Established relationships with major banks, payment processors, card networks, and fintech companies.
- Experience managing multi‑million‑dollar deals and complex sales cycles.
- Excellent executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills.
