For nearly two decades, we've worked with thousands of nonprofit organizations, luxury brands, entertainment enterprises, celebrities, and cultural institutions to bring unique inventory to market — driving hundreds of millions of dollars in transactional revenue and converting consumer spending into meaningful impact.
Our supply-side business is powered by three core divisions:
Charity Partnerships, Vendor Partnerships, and Direct Partnerships.
Charitybuzz is seeking a Sales Manager, Partnerships — a full-cycle, new business hunter focused on identifying, pitching, and closing new partnerships that bring valuable inventory and experiences onto the platform. Depending on candidate background and fit, this role will be aligned to one of two divisions:
- Charity Partnerships — Sourcing and closing partnerships with nonprofit organizations, with a focus on the entertainment and celebrity nonprofit ecosystem
- Vendor Partnerships — Sourcing and closing partnerships with luxury brands, experience providers, hospitality groups, and premium inventory suppliers
Both tracks share the same core DNA: outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing new business. This is not an account management role. Once partnerships are closed, accounts transition to a dedicated Account Manager.
Core Responsibilities New Business Development & Pipeline Ownership- Identify, source, and pursue high-potential partnership opportunities within your assigned vertical
- Build and manage a robust outbound pipeline of qualified prospects
- Lead the full sales cycle: outbound outreach, discovery, consultative pitch, negotiation, and close
- Consistently meet or exceed new revenue and new logo acquisition targets
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in Salesforce
- Structure partnerships across different revenue models including consignment, revenue share, and inventory acquisition
- Assess the revenue potential and strategic value of prospective partnerships
- Collaborate on pricing, packaging, and positioning for new inventory opportunities
- Develop creative partnership concepts aligned with Charitybuzz's marketplace and customer base
- Partner with marketing, operations, merchandising, and finance to onboard new partnerships
- Collaborate on launch timing, campaign opportunities, and merchandising strategy
- Ensure seamless post-close transitions to the dedicated Account Manager
- 2–3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales in a performance-driven environment
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing revenue-generating deals
- Background in nonprofit/fundraising, entertainment, hospitality, luxury goods, experiential marketing, or marketplace businesses
- Strong outbound sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel
- Self-starter with strong ownership, process discipline, and revenue accountability
- Bachelor's degree required
- Year 1 OTE: $100,000 – $110,000
