Location: New York

For our client, we are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive State & Local Sales to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.

Location

New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation

$360,000 – $435,000 annually.

Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth by owning the full sales cycle for state and local agencies
  • Navigate procurement requirements and compliance standards for government contracts
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers to advise on AI implementations
  • Develop strategic account plans that align with agency modernization goals
  • Collaborate with cloud service providers for successful AI deployment
  • Provide market feedback to refine product offerings for government needs
  • Create sales playbooks tailored to state and local procurement processes
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience in state and local government
  • Deep knowledge of government agency missions and technology needs
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in this space
  • Experience with state-specific procurement processes and compliance
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with decision-makers across agencies
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders including cloud providers
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and security frameworks
