About the Role:Our client is looking for an experienced Account Executive to drive new business growth across the higher education market. This is a true full-cycle sales role where you'll own the entire sales process—from prospecting through closing—while helping shape the company's go-to-market strategy.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building pipeline, engaging executive-level stakeholders, and closing consultative sales in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You'll Do:- Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close.
- Build and manage a pipeline of colleges and universities, targeting admissions, enrollment, and recruitment leaders.
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand institutional priorities and enrollment goals.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that communicate business value.
- Negotiate pricing, partnership terms, and contracts while driving successful outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and leadership teams to provide market feedback and improve go-to-market strategy.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Hub Spot.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and customer meetings.
- 3+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a strong track record of closing new business.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience selling to executive-level decision-makers and managing complex buying processes.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover customer needs and articulate value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in an early-stage environment.
- Experience using modern sales tools, including CRM platforms and sales engagement software.
- Experience selling SaaS, EdTech, marketplace, or AI solutions.
- Experience selling into colleges, universities, or higher education institutions.
- Existing relationships within higher education is a plus.
