Account Manager, Director of Sales

Job Responsibilities- Serve as the main point of contact across MDT account teams, including District Managers (DM), Sales Area Directors (SAD), Sales Operations Specialists (SOS), and teams specializing in GYN and Hernia portfolios.
- Lead the creation and execution of account‑level contractual strategies.
- Optimize contracts and drive category expansion across One Surgical.
- Own and execute quarterly Customer Business Reviews to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key economic and clinical stakeholders.
- Support portfolio growth strategies by engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Drive adoption and utilization of all Surgical Center of Technology (COT) products:
Stapling, Energy, Wound Closure, Electrosurgery, Situate, Access & Instrumentation (A&I). - Cultivate and strengthen relationships with field distribution partners.
- Maximize partnership programs and leverage account intelligence to increase market share.
- Achieve/exceed disposable quota (strategic & core).
- Achieve/exceed hardware quota.
- Expand contract categories.
- Improve opportunity management and forecasting accuracy.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND at least 6+ years experience in medical device, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Associate’s Degree AND at least 4+ years experience in the same fields.
- Bachelor’s Degree AND at least 2+ years experience in the same fields.
- Proven track record in sales within the medical device or healthcare industry, preferably surgical.
- Strong understanding of clinical environments and ability to communicate complex product information to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience building and managing key customer relationships with decision‑makers in clinical and administrative roles.
- Ability to analyze business trends and use insights to develop actionable strategies.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary range U.S. (excl. Puerto Rico): $75,000. Eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) for achieving or exceeding sales goals.
