Seasonal Sales Associate
The role of Seasonal Sales Associate at Timberland involves being the face of the brand, engaging customers, providing product knowledge, and contributing to store success.
Responsibilities- Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement.
- Build sales by maintaining a consumer‑centric mindset and modeling selling behaviors.
- Share relevant product, brand, and community knowledge.
- Achieve individual and team sales goals using available resources and tools.
- Assist in visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining brand presentation standards.
- Perform cashier duties and support loss‑prevention initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer‑ready store environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Model inclusive behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience; customer service or retail experience preferred.
- Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs.
- Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
- Physical ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight.
Hiring Range: $17.00 - $24.75 USD per hour.
