Main-Care Energy is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Commercial Fuel Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fuel sales professional or a proven outside sales representative looking to build a long-term career in the energy industry.
As a Main-Care Energy employee-owner, you will play a key role in expanding our commercial fuels business throughout the Hudson Valley region by developing new customer relationships and growing existing accounts across industries including agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, industrial, and commercial operations.

What You’ll Do- Develop and grow commercial fuel sales within your assigned territory
- Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, cold calling, and relationship-building
- Manage and expand relationships with existing commercial accounts
- Identify customer fuel and energy needs and provide customized solutions
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and service agreements
- Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure outstanding customer experience
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities

- Previous commercial fuel sales experience preferred or a strong proven track record in outside B2B sales
- Energy industry experience is not required for candidates with demonstrated success in business-to-business sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable spending significant time in the field meeting with customers and prospects
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Base salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
