The Inside Sales Representative is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role focuses on managing inbound and outbound sales activities, including responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and processing orders for electrical equipment and supplies. Day‑to‑day tasks include building and maintaining relationships with new and existing accounts, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, and supporting lead generation efforts.
The Inside Sales Representative will collaborate with customer service and warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge, updating the CRM system, and meeting defined sales and performance targets.
- Strong Inside Sales experience, with the ability to manage the full sales cycle and close opportunities.
- Skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on responsive support and solution‑oriented communication.
- Experience in Lead Generation and prospecting to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Account Management skills to nurture long‑term customer relationships and handle repeat business.
- Knowledge of electrical products or related industries is preferred.
- Comfort with CRM systems, basic data entry, and using standard office software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work on‑site full‑time in the New York City Metropolitan Area and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or a related field is a plus.
