The Medical Sales Representative is a full-time hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan / Stamford, CT area, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing and prospective customers, and promoting Talon Precision’s machining capabilities to current and prospective customers in the medical industry.
Day-to-day activities include conducting outreach and sales calls, coordinating with engineering and operations teams to prepare proposals and quotations in alignment with customer requirements, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems. The Medical Sales Representative will attend customer meetings, industry events, and site visits as needed to understand technical needs, present solutions, and close deals while meeting sales targets and supporting long-term account growth.
- Strong skills in B2B sales, account management, and new business development.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, sales reporting, and pipeline management to track activities and forecast revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with an emphasis on building long-term customer relationships.
- Self‑directed work style, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience selling to medical customers is preferred.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to precision machining, tight‑tolerance components, and applications is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as business needs require.
