Responsibilities
- Focus on the retention and growth of key brand relationships in beauty and CPG in North America
- Maintain and accurately report on the sales pipeline, including the likelihood of closing deals, every quarter
- Develop senior‑level relationships across the industry, collaborating with brand partners to understand their strategic objectives and ensure we are delivering value to each account
- Develop an account planning strategy that defines the structure and opportunities for growth within each account
- Develop annualized sampling strategies alongside our largest partners to solidify SoPost as a critical component of their marketing plan
- Deliver on agreed sales objectives and revenue targets
- Stay up‑to‑date on the product roadmap and upcoming launches within SoPost, as well as the broader digital media ecosystem, to identify potential opportunities with existing brand partners
- Maintain a CRM database of key contacts and prospects
- Identify and attend industry events to network and raise SoPost’s profile within the beauty and CPG industry, where new business opportunities exist
- Proven experience over 3+ years in account management within a high‑volume deal, B2B sales, environment
- Experience managing relationships with enterprise portfolio businesses within the beauty or CPG industries
- A strong client database, preferably within the beauty or CPG industry and across media agencies
- Proven track record of growing accounts, meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proven track record of building strong client relationships, both brand direct and with agencies
- Strategic, consultative sales approach with the ability to understand customer needs, create meaningful solutions, set expectations and close deals of all sizes
- An understanding of the digital media landscape and the competitive marketplace in which we operate
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong competency in presentation software (e.g. Google Slides)
- Experience working with CRM software, like Hub Spot or Salesforce, is a plus
