Company Description

Isaac Morris (Isaac Morris Limited), founded in 1989 and based in New York City, is a recognized leader in the licensed apparel market. For over 35 years, the company has provided retailers with high-quality products, standout artwork, and reliable execution. Isaac Morris specializes in boys, girls, young men’s, and juniors’ clothing, distributing to specialty stores, department stores, and mass market retailers with tailored approaches for each channel.

With an in-house licensing and art team, the company is committed to showcasing industry-leading artwork and current fashion trends across its portfolio of properties.

The Role

We're looking for an Account Executive to join our Walmart team and drive sales volume growth across assigned departments and categories. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of merchandising, analytics, and retail execution. You'll have access to the biggest and hottest licenses in the market — your job is to turn that portfolio into compelling, retail-right product lines that Walmart buyers want to buy, and to manage those programs from sell‑in through in‑store execution.

The right candidate knows the apparel/soft‑lines business inside and out, has successfully serviced national mass retailers, and thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

What You'll Do
  • Own sales volume growth within your assigned departments/categories at Walmart, building and presenting seasonal lines that align with buyer strategies and consumer trends
  • Merchandise compelling product offerings — pairing the right licenses, designs, and price points with the right departments and seasonal windows
  • Leverage data and analytics (POS, sell‑through, instocks, receipt flow, markdown performance) paired with market and pop‑culture insights to identify white space and sell‑in opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart buyers and internal cross‑functional partners (design, production, planning, logistics)
  • Manage programs across the full execution chain — from line development and sell‑in through MABD, in‑store set, mod activation, and markdown cadence — for both Stores and ecommerce (OLX) channels
  • Partner with licensors across brands and properties to secure approvals, align on brand strategy, and maximize the portfolio
  • Monitor program performance in Retail Link and Scintilla, proactively flagging risks and opportunities and translating findings into action
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively — internally to align teams and externally to win with buyers
  • Navigate the workflow and supply chain realities of mass retail distribution, anticipating timing, capacity, and logistics needs
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in apparel/soft‑lines sales, merchandising, or account management servicing national retailers (mass channel strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of merchandising lines that retailers want to buy — this is the #1 skill we’re hiring for
  • Hands‑on experience with Walmart Retail Link and Scintilla
  • Experience working with licensors, whether across brands or licenses (approvals, brand guidelines, royalty structures)
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable pulling, interpreting, and acting on retail data (POS, instock, receipts, markdowns)
  • Working knowledge of mass retail supply chain and execution: seasonal set cadences, MABDs, mod timing, DC‑to‑store flow
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both internal and external
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple programs simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • An eye for product — trend awareness, merchandising instinct, and a genuine passion for pop culture and licensed brands
Why IML
  • Access to one of the strongest license portfolios in the industry — from legacy entertainment studios to today's hottest music, anime, and gaming properties
  • Direct ownership of business with the world's largest retailer
  • A fast‑moving, entrepreneurial team where strong performance is visible and rewarded
