ZIMMERMANN is seeking a talented Account Executive to join our US Wholesale team. Based onsite in New York, NY and reporting to our Senior Wholesale Manager, this role involves maintaining and growing the North American department store network for ready‑to‑wear, swim, kids and accessories. Accounts include Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Holt Renfrew. This opportunity is ideal for someone motivated by sales, team collaboration and measurable impact within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Support the North American department store business lifecycle from market to markdown to drive visibility and profitability while aligning with Zimmermann objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with vendor teams including buying, planning, marketing, store and logistics.
- Conduct market appointments in NYC and Paris for five collections per year.
- Own the seasonal sell‑in strategy with key accounts, including assortment planning and pre‑market preparation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including logistics and finance, to ensure timely shipping, payments and invoicing targets are met.
- Plan and coordinate seasonal marketing and events with partner accounts to drive sales.
- Coordinate with the Wholesale VM Coordinator to optimize in‑store presentation and support shop‑in‑shop openings.
- Leverage field team to support sell‑out and overall business productivity through in‑store trainings, event support and business analysis.
- Travel outside of NYC as required to visit B&M department store locations for staff training, product knowledge clinics, visual merchandising and special events.
- Analyze weekly sales performance by account and partner with buying and merchandising teams to maximize sell‑through and optimize inventory.
- Collaborate on EOS collection analysis with the global team.
- Conduct robust business analysis by account to inform future buy plans and growth strategies, ensuring all opportunities are recognized and action plans implemented.
- Monitor industry trends.
- 3+ years of wholesale sales, account management, or territory sales experience within fashion, apparel, accessories, footwear or luxury consumer goods.
- Understanding of luxury department store business needs and established relationships within key accounts.
- Exceptional relationship‑building, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Clear understanding of wholesale business operations, retail math, inventory management and sales planning.
- Proven ability to analyze selling reports and leverage data to drive business decisions.
- Self‑motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite and sales platforms including Joor and NuOrder.
