Fierman Produce Exchange is a leading produce distributor based at Hunts Point Produce Market in the Bronx — one of the largest food distribution hubs in the world. We're growing our sales team and looking for a driven Sales Representative to help us expand our customer base across the New York metro area.
This is primarily an outbound sales role. You will be in the field, prospecting and closing new business with supermarkets, bodegas, restaurants, delis, and food service operators. You'll also leverage Hunts Point as a home base to network with buyers and build your reputation in the industry.

What You'll Do- Prospect and close new accounts with supermarkets, bodegas, restaurants, and food service operators across NYC and surrounding areas
- Build and manage a pipeline of net-new business through cold outreach, referrals, and in-person visits
- Present Fierman's products, pricing, and service model to prospective buyers
- Negotiate and close supply agreements; coordinate with operations on delivery
- Service and grow existing customer accounts
- Network with buyers and industry contacts at Hunts Point Produce Market
- Track activity and account performance; report on pipeline and results
- Hit monthly and quarterly targets for new accounts and revenue
Required:
- 2–5 years of sales experience in produce, fresh food, perishable wholesale, or a related food category
- Experience calling on or selling to supermarkets, bodegas, restaurants, or food service buyers
- Familiarity with Hunts Point Produce Market or a comparable wholesale market is a strong plus
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Existing relationships with food retail or food service buyers in the NYC metro area
- Knowledge of produce seasonality, pricing, and sourcing
- CRM or sales tracking experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Base Salary: $55,000–$70,000, based on experience
- Performance Bonus:
Based on overall sales and account growth goals - Commission:
Earned on new accounts opened and new account revenue
