Client Overview:
Our client, a leading global fashion and lifestyle brand, is seeking a Temp Account Executive to support its North American wholesale business. This role is responsible for managing key retail partnerships, driving sales performance, executing seasonal strategies, and identifying opportunities for business growth across wholesale accounts. The ideal candidate has experience working with national retail partners, possesses strong analytical skills, and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Salary/HourlyRate:
$33/hr
Position Overview:Acting as a key partner to both customers and internal teams, the Temp Account Executive will help optimize product assortments, analyze business performance, and ensure seamless execution from sell‑in through delivery. The ideal candidate is analytical, relationship‑driven, and thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment while balancing strategic initiatives with day‑to‑day account management.
Responsibilities of the Temp Account Executive:- Manage day‑to‑day communication and relationships with assigned wholesale retail accounts.
- Support the development and execution of account‑specific sales strategies to achieve seasonal business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand product distribution, optimize assortments, and increase sales.
- Conduct business reviews with retail partners to evaluate performance and recommend growth strategies.
- Analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales performance, inventory levels, and forecasting data.
- Partner with Merchandising teams to develop assortments that align with customer needs and financial goals.
- Prepare and present seasonal line reviews and product presentations to retail partners.
- Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Design, and Finance teams to execute business initiatives.
- Monitor order status, shipments, forecasts, and delivery timelines to ensure successful account execution.
- Coordinate samples, order entry, reporting, and other sales support activities.
- Maintain accurate sales reporting, account documentation, and forecasting tools.
- 4 - 6 years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, or a related retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales trends and business performance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Experience with in the apparel, fashion, or consumer goods industry.
- Experience managing or supporting major department stores or national retail accounts is highly preferred.
- Experience with NuOrder or similar wholesale management platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of wholesale merchandising, forecasting, assortment planning, and retail sales analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field is required.
