The Sustainability Sales Specialist, Non‑Financial Corporations, Americas – based in New York – is responsible for fostering strong client relationships, expanding market presence, and driving sales growth for Sustainalytics Sustainable
1. The role reports to the Regional Sales Head for Non‑Financial Corporates, Americas, and focuses on Sustainability Analytics / Benchmarking Services, Physical Risk data feed, and the Climanomics platform.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales quota for the designated territory.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly sales results and forecast.
  • Develop customer‑oriented value propositions with marketing and business line leaders.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cross‑sell with other commercial leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing function to improve customer experience and go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Maintain connections with customers and market to inform product development.
  • Promote cross‑divisional collaboration across S&P divisions.
  • Communicate sustainability value proposition and market leadership to industry customers and partners.
  • Participate in industry conferences, events, and thought‑leadership activities as an S&P Global brand ambassador.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Work with S&P Global Market Intelligence to recommend custom solutions.
  • Develop marketing initiatives and client events to generate pipeline.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a new‑business sales position.
  • Experience in sustainability and/or SaaS enterprise sales with large‑ticket, solution‑selling deals.
  • Track record of selling successfully within Non‑Financial Corporations.
  • Ability to manage large, complex sales and work in a large organization.
  • Strong skills in capturing and leveraging customer, market, and competitive intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in a global matrix environment.
  • Strategic and operational mindset with strong discipline in long‑term planning and near‑term pipeline tools.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other commercial tools.
  • Negotiation skills to close strategic deals.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, grit, and persistence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
Compensation & Benefits (US Applicants Only)

Base salary range: $87,387–$100,000, based on geography, level, and experience.

Eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional S&P Global employee benefits.
