NOTE:
This role is based in New York City and encourages a minimum of two days per week in the SoHo office. Some roles or teams may require additional in-office attendance if the essential functions of the role require it.
This is a fast‑paced, high profile position, supporting the Sr. Vice President of Trade Sales. From administrative tasks, to sales reporting, this role works with every department within Trade and is perfect for a motivated, detail‑oriented, and independent person who wants to learn about Children's publishing.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Create and distribute weekly sales reports and analysis to Leadership team, including seasonal updates.
- Coordinate and plan three national sales conferences a year; including organizing and running a weekly meeting, creating agenda, organising conference, maintaining attendee list, creating and distributing meeting materials, maintaining budget, etc.
- Send agenda and notes for two Sales Review meetings a month—coordinate with SVP Trade Sales.
- Update terms of sales of sale, including meet comp agreements and stock offers. Create and distribute laydown contracts.
- Communicate sales feedback to publishers in monthly call reports.
- Field publisher requests for sales data, business reviews, and partner with marketing on sales assets.
- Maintain new rep set up and account coding in Oracle, approve invoices in Catalyst.
- Administrative assistance for SVP Trade Sales including calendar management, arranging business travel, managing expense reports, etc.
