Overview
Join Amazon Web Services as a Generative AI and Machine Learning Specialist Seller. In this role you will drive adoption of AWS's AI/ML and generative AI services by identifying high‑value customer opportunities within a defined territory, engaging with AWS customers, and serving as a trusted advisor to help embed and deploy AI solutions. You will own the full‑cycle sales process—from generating qualified leads to closing deals—while partnering with technical experts, partners, and cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Accelerate customer adoption by defining and executing sales plays within assigned accounts.
- Lead the proposal and win path for new AI/ML initiatives, collaborating with line‑of‑business and C‑suite leaders.
- Act as the primary specialist point of contact for all AI/ML engagement in your accounts.
- Develop and articulate compelling value propositions tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Partner with system integrators and AWS partner ecosystem to deliver on customer projects.
- Spearhead market expansion by identifying new customer segments and generative AI use cases.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to strengthen AWS’s AI/ML value proposition.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous service innovation.
- Maintain credibility and trust with customers, account teams, and service teams.
- Drive sales efforts across multiple lines of business with decision‑making authority and budget ownership.
We are a dedicated group of AI/ML, analytics, and database sales specialists focused on helping automotive and manufacturing customers improve operational efficiency and create new revenue streams by leveraging AWS cloud and AI application partners.
Basic Qualifications- 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C‑level executives.
- 5+ years of go‑to‑market, business development, sales, or consulting experience.
- Proven ability to build and manage a healthy sales pipeline focused on revenue, adoption, and market penetration.
- 3+ years of generative AI or AI/ML sales experience.
- Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account and expanding their understanding of the customer’s business.
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large‑scale technology projects for global customers.
- Technical or educational background in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans.
- AI/ML degree or relevant certifications.
Base salary: $142,800 – $193,200 annually (varies by location). The full compensation package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units, and sales incentives.
