Job Summary
The Sponsorship Account Executive is a strategic sales role within the Sponsor ships Sales Team (SST), responsible for driving premium video sponsorship revenue through proactive prospecting, custom pitch development, and executive relationship management. This role focuses on large‑scale sponsor ships requiring specialized expertise in storytelling, brand partnership development, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Prospecting and Pipeline Development: Conduct proactive prospecting through systematic competitive intelligence analysis, building strategic partnerships with target brands and cultivating C‑suite relationships with clients, agency leadership, and content teams.
- Building, Scaling, and Negotiating Sponsorship Offerings: Develop custom pitches and deal constructs for strategic partnerships, deliver compelling presentations to senior brand executives, negotiate investment thresholds, creative scope, and integration packages, and coordinate cross-functional alignment across Brand Partnerships Go‑to‑Market, Measurement, Prime Video, and Legal teams.
- Account Management and Relationship Ownership: Serve as single‑threaded owner for Premium Brand Sponsorship (PVS) partners, provide 1:3 coverage for high‑value Tier 1 prospects and active sponsors, conduct quarterly business reviews and performance reporting, present upcoming IP briefings, propose expansion opportunities, negotiate renewal terms, and drive year‑over‑year revenue growth.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Operate within matrixed Large Customer Sales (LCS) account pods as the team’s sponsorship sales lead, partner closely with BP GTM for packaging, pricing, and narrative development, collaborate with Brand Innovation Lab for creative strategy and custom content development, coordinate with Studios Promotions for IP briefings and talent access, and work with ADM stakeholders for campaign execution and performance measurement.
- 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience
- Experience closing sales and generating revenue
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience building new customer relationships
