The OpportunityIn the ever evolving landscape of the energy markets, we are providing our subscribers with a platform to streamline the search, discovery and real-time tracking of regulations across all federal, regional and state energy agencies and legislatures. As a Director of Sales, you will play a vital role in educating potential subscribers on how the platform is a value-add for their business.
As a Director of Sales
, you’ll be tasked with discovering prospective client’s pain points, showcasing how the Ener Knol Platform eliminates them, and summarizing the impact that will have for their business. You will grow the new business pipeline, provide tailored product demonstrations, and convert trialists into key accounts. This role involves networking, maintaining key relationships, and strategizing as to what product features benefit the client.
You will play an important leadership role at Ener Knol as it scales and be part of a fun and collaborative team.
- Ownership of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract execution.
- Creating and implementing outbound strategies for key accounts within your territory.
- Attending energy conferences and networking events (some travel required).
- Maintaining a sales pipeline in our CRM.
- Genuine curiosity in the sales process - you love understanding prospect’s problems and have the ability to showcase how a technical solution solves them.
- 3 year minimum of quota-carrying experience.
- A self-starter with high agency.
- Solid track record of exceeding sales quotas, and professional references that will vouch for your performance in past roles.
- Industry experience and energy market knowledge.
- Established relationships with, or experience selling to, companies within or serving the energy industry e.g. Utilities, Law Firms, Developers, Finance, Consulting, Technology, etc.
