Position OverviewDonnamax is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our Head of Sales in managing relationships with key retail accounts and ensuring projects move smoothly from initial customer communication through final delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with major retail buyers, coordinating cross-functional projects, and playing a critical role in the sales process. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of Sales with the day-to-day management of major retail accounts.
- Communicate professionally with buyers, merchants, and sourcing teams from leading national retailers.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, presentations, and follow-up communications.
- Manage ongoing customer orders from purchase order through production, shipment, and successful completion.
- Collaborate with internal departments—including product development, design, production, logistics, and customer service to ensure orders stay on schedule.
- Prepare sales presentations, pricing sheets, quotations, and customer documentation.
- Complete retailer forms, vendor onboarding paperwork, and other administrative documents accurately and on time.
- Coordinate the preparation and shipment of product samples to customers.
- Maintain organized records of customer communications, orders, and project timelines.
- Assist with trade show preparation, customer meetings, and other sales initiatives.
- Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up to ensure projects continue moving forward.
- Provide administrative and operational support for the sales team as needed.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, account management, customer service, or an administrative role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or order management systems is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
- Takes initiative and can work independently while supporting a collaborative sales team.
- Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually, based on experience.
