If you have spent time in payment integrity, you know the industry's quiet truth: most review happens after the check clears, most findings die in appeals, and the plan sponsor never sees proof of what they actually paid for. Highlight Health was built by people who decided that was not good enough. We review high-dollar claims before they are paid, reprice them with a comprehensive approach, and provide plan sponsors a Documented Record: evidence that every payment decision was right, at a price they can defend to the people they cover.
Fiduciary duty has always been the law; we make it provable. As our Account Executive, you will bring that proof to the widest part of the market, mid-sized self-funded employers and the brokers and TPAs they trust, so they achieve optimal savings that enable them to provide quality coverage for their members.
The Account Executive produces new revenue from mid‑sized self‑funded employers, typically up to 2,500 covered lives. You run a high‑velocity, education‑led sales motion, and you are accountable for your pipeline and your number, built from a variety of sources: the broker channel, our TPA and stop‑loss partners, inbound demand, and your own outreach.
This role sits at the intersection of the broker channel, self‑funded plan economics, and high‑velocity consultative sales. You carry every deal from first conversation through activation, then hand a live account to the client success team for a service relationship that centers on business impact.
The Results You Own- New logo revenue
. You put independent review within reach of employers who have never had it, and you own the revenue that follows: a broker and TPA channel pipeline you build, plus inbound converted at pace. - Accounts that activate, not just sign
. Signature is a milestone, not the finish line. You own every deal through implementation until claims are flowing; your wins are measured in activated accounts and covered lives under review. - Partner-sourced execution
. When our stop‑loss and TPA relationships surface a plan sponsor, you get it done, at any size; that execution protects the promises our partners make. - Predictable production
. You hit consistent monthly and quarterly targets from a healthy, well‑qualified pipeline.
- Hunt and convert at velocity
. Many conversations, fast qualification, faster disqualification, and a consultative, education‑led sale in a market where most buyers do not yet know independent pre‑payment review exists. - Sell the motion that proves itself
. Engagements often open by showing a sponsor and their broker exactly what independent review is worth. You sell that arc: land with evidence, expand into an ongoing pre‑payment relationship. - Cover more market than a traditional seller
. You put AI to work on everything that is not a human conversation, and spend your hours where deals are won: with people. - Be the reason a broker's clients stop overpaying
. You show brokers what independent review does for the employers they advise: lower costs, a stronger fiduciary record, and a better renewal story, so they bring you into more of their client base. - Own the forecast
. Accurate pipeline, honest stages, and actionable data in our systems of record; leadership plans on your numbers.
- 3+ years of sales experience in self‑funded benefits, TPA services, stop‑loss, payment integrity, cost containment, or an adjacent part of this ecosystem.
- Fluency in how self‑funded plans work: the roles of TPAs, brokers, and stop‑loss carriers, the ERISA fiduciary backdrop, and the CAA requirements now reshaping what plan sponsors must prove. You can speak credibly to brokers and benefits buyers from day one; this is not trainable on the job.
- Experience selling into or through the broker channel.
- A documented record of consistent quota attainment in a high‑velocity sales motion. Candidates who cannot tell that story in detail will not advance.
- You already use AI tools daily to multiply your selling output, and you can show us how.
- Working familiarity with facility claims mechanics (UB-04, 837I, repricing) and the ability to translate them into…
