Position

Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive to join our Handbags team. This role will own the wholesale sales process, partnering with key retail accounts and cross-functional teams to drive business growth, maximize sales opportunities, and strengthen strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is analytical, relationship-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow existing wholesale accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key retail partners.
  • Develop and execute account-specific business plans to achieve seasonal sales and brand objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance, including classification analysis, sell-through reports, market share, and business trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Design, Merchandising, Product Development, and Planning teams to develop assortments and exclusive product opportunities that meet retailer needs.
  • Prepare seasonal booking reports, sales forecasts, and account performance recaps.
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Marketing teams to support seasonal launches and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Manage order execution, including batch sheets, order accuracy, and resolving cancellations, oversolds, and replenishment opportunities.
  • Monitor business performance throughout the season and recommend strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Present seasonal assortments, sales strategies, and business updates to internal leadership and retail partners.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of wholesale sales experience, preferably within handbags, accessories, or fashion.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales reports, classification analysis, and market trends.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain successful retail partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range for this position is: $90,000 - $100,000 per year.
